Download nowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be conducting the round 3 NEET PG counselling 2024 for All India Quota (AIQ) seats from December 26. Candidates who have been allocated seats in the second round counselling were permitted to report at the allotted colleges till today. In the next step, the MCC will open the registration window for the NEET PG round 3 counselling at the official website, mcc.nic.in.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court is yet to make a decision on the NEET PG exam transparency, which was challenged by a group of 19 aspirants after the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) declared the results. As per the NEET PG latest update, the Supreme Court will hear the matter on January 7.
Petitions were filed in five high courts as well regarding the addition of incentive marks, new domicile rule, and discrepancies in the NEET PG state merit list. In a few cases, the courts directed the NBE to revise the state merit list and asked the counselling committees to resume the admission process based on the rank allotted.
In state-wise updates, choice filling process is underway for West Bengal and Bihar NEET PG counselling . Odisha and Tamil Nadu NEET PG round 2 allotment results have also been declared today by the respective state counselling committees.
Two rounds of MCC NEET PG counselling 2024 have been conducted so far. Qualified candidates will be able to register for the NEET PG round 3 counselling from December 26 to January 1. The NEET PG choice filling for the third round will begin on December 27.
