Download nowNEW DELHI: The highest NEET PG rank at which a medical college closed admission to the Master of Surgery (MS) General Surgery course last year was 146 at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC). The National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 result will be declared soon at natboard.edu.in. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will announce the results along with cut-offs.
NEET PG 2024 was held on August 11 in two shifts for more than 2.28 lakh candidates. NBEMS will use a normalization method to prepare the NEET PG results 2024 as the test was conducted in two shifts.
The PG medical entrance exam determines a medical graduate’s eligibility for admission to MD and MS programmes such as general medicine, general surgery, paediatrics, orthopaedics, radio-diagnosis, obstetrics and gynaecology, ophthalmology, anaesthesiology, psychiatry, among others.
Once NEET PG result 2024 is declared, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET PG counselling 2024. Students will be allotted courses and colleges based on their scores in the exam.
