NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2022 results have been declared on June 1, 2022, by the National Board of Examination (NBE). Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya has lauded NBEMS for announcing the NEET PG result 2022 in a record 10 days. Candidates can check the NEET PG 2022 ranks on the NBE official website nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.

NEET PG 2022 exam, held on May 21 saw participation from about 1,82,318 candidates. There were 200 multiple choice questions in the NEET PG 2022 question paper, for which, the candidates got 3 hours and 30 minutes to answer. The NEET PG result 2022 was announced in a record 10 days. Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya appreciated the NBE for this achievement.

The NEET 2022 results can be downloaded in PDF format where the roll number, rank and marks of the candidates who qualified the NEET PG 2022 exam can be seen. After qualifying for the NEET PG exam, candidates are required to go through the NEET PG 2022 counselling process, which will be held by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The NEET PG counselling 2022 schedule will be announced by MCC soon on the official website -- mcc.nic.in.
According to the NBE notice, the NEET PG 2022 cutoff for session has been dropped for all categories. Candidates can view the category-wise NEET PG 2022 cutoff below.

NEET PG 2022 merit list for 50 percent all-India quota seats will be declared separately. The state quota seats merit list will be generated by the states or Union Territories according to their respective eligibility criteria, says a statement from NBE.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will now conduct the NEET PG 2022 counselling at mcc.nic.in. The official schedule for NEET PG counselling 2022 will be published on the website soon.
According to the MCC NEET PG counselling policy allows a candidate to choose only one form of reservation. Therefore, candidates choosing their nationality as NRIs/Foreign Nationals/OCIs/PIOs will not be eligible for any benefits of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD, in the MCC-conducted counselling, and for eligibility to sit for NEET PG 2022, respectively.

Applicants can download the scorecard for the NEET PG 2022 examination from the website nbe.edu.in starting June 8.
NEET PG exam 2022 official brochure on natboard.edu.in states: "There shall be NO re-evaluation or rechecking or re-totaling of responses marked by the candidates. Requests/Queries for reevaluation/re-totaling shall not be entertained."
Separate merit lists will be published for seats under the 50% All India quota for all students in the country. State and union territories will formulate the final merit list and the category-wise merit list for state quota seats based on their qualification and eligibility criteria, applicable rules and regulations, and reservation policy, NEET PG 2022 result statement said.
As per the reports, Dr Shagun Batra has secured rank 1 in NEET PG 2022 exam, followed by Dr Joseph (rank 2), and Dr Harshita (rank 3).
NMC has cancelled admissions in MBBS and PG courses in three medical colleges in Telangana -- MNR medical college and hospital, Sangareddy; Mahavir Institute of Medical Sciences, Vikarabad; and TRR Institute of Medical Sciences, Patancheru due to “infrastructure deficiencies and shortage of faculty”. Candidates choosing their Nationality as NRI, Foreign Nationals, OCI or PIO shall not be entitled to avail any benefits of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD, in the counselling conducted by MCC and also in the qualifying criteria of NEET-PG 2022. Such NRI, foreign nationals, OCI or PIO candidates will be treated as “General” for the purpose of qualifying criteria of NEET-PG 2022 and also for the purpose of counselling conducted by MCC, irrespective of the Category/PwD status chosen by them in the NEET-PG 2022 application form, the NBEMS said in the notice.
The NEET PG counselling will be conducted separately for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and remaining 50% state quota seats. The 50% AIQ counseling will be conducted by MCC in an online mode. Whereas the NEET PG 2022 counselling for state quota seats will be conducted by state authorities. The dates for NEET PG 2022 counselling will also be announced by respective authorities.

NEET PG cut-off for the year 2022 has dropped compared to NEET PG 2021 cut off. The cut off as per the NEET PG 2022 result for the general category and EWS students is 275 marks. For persons with disabilities, the cut off is 260 and for SC, ST and OBC candidates it is 245. The maximum marks one can score is 800.
NEET PG 2022 merit list for 50 percent all-India quota seats will be declared separately. The state quota seats merit list will be generated by the states or Union Territories according to their respective eligibility criteria, says a statement from NBE.
NEET PG 2022 Result: NEET-PG 2022 scorecards will be available soon on the NBE official website- nbe.edu.in. The individual scorecards can be downloaded from June 8 onwards.
Prior to the NEET PG 2022 exam, NEET 2022 aspirants had requested the postponement of the NEET PG 2022 exam citing the insufficient gap between the exam and the NEET PG 2021 Counselling and the ineligibility of over 5,000 intern doctors to appear in the NEET PG 2022 examination as they served during the Covid-19 pandemic. But the exams has been conducted on May 21 and the NEET PG 2022 results were declared within 10 days.
Before the NEET PG 2022 exam, General Practitioners Association in Kerala had requested chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, health minister Veena George and NBEMS to facilitate an option to change exam centres.
NEET PG 2022 Result: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) had recently sent a delegation to meet the Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya before the exam, to discuss the postponement of the NEET PG 2022 exam. As per a statement from ABVP, it held a meaningful discussion to justify NEET PG 2022 postponement and said that relief to the candidates can be expected.
NEET PG 2022 Result: The FAIMA Doctors Association, in a tweet, has complained about the lack of facilities provided by the NBE to the NEET 2022 examinees despite charging an excessive fee. "It is very unfortunate that #NBEMS charges exorbitant fees for the NEET PG exam specifically, whereas no facilities is been given to examinees. We also want #NBEMS to release answer key immediately and maintain transparency," tweeted FAIMA.

Many NEET PG 2022 aspirants who attended the exam said that most of the questions were from the syllabus. According to some students, only some questions were from out of the syllabus.
The NBE announced the NEET PG 2022 result today, June 1, setting a record of announcing the result within 10 days of the commencement of the exam.
