MBBS aspirants have 24 hours to fill NEET application form 2025; NTA sends multiple reminders

Download EBookNEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - undergraduate (NEET UG 2025) registration form 2025 will be available till tomorrow, March 7, on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which will be conducting the NEET UG exam 2025 on May 4, urged the MBBS aspirants to fill form “at the earliest to avoid last minute difficulties”.
The NEET UG form submission last date 2025 is March 7. Applicants will be able to register for NTA NEET till 11.50 pm. In case of discrepancies in the details entered in NEET form, candidates will be allowed to make changes from March 9 to 11 through the official website.
The NTA will be conducting the medical entrance exam in pen and paper format like previous years.
The NEET syllabus 2025 for physics, chemistry, and biology has been updated by the National Medical Commission (NMC). As per the revised exam pattern, the NEET UG question paper 2025 will have three sections - the physics and chemistry sections will have 45 questions and the biology section, which consists of botany and zoology, will have 90 questions. Applicants will have to attempt all 180 questions in 3 hours.

The NTA has slightly relaxed the rules by allowing candidates to upload images in JPG and JPEG formats. Earlier, it was mandatory for students to upload documents in JPG format.

Those who have their images and documents in a different format will be able to resize, compress, and change image format online for free.
How many registered for NEET so far?
The NTA recorded the highest NEET registration of around 24 lakh last year. Over 20 lakh applied for the MBBS entrance exam the year before. The exact number of applications received by the NTA in this year will be updated after the NEET registration last date 2025.
