NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET UG 2022 notification soon. As per the latest NEET reports, NEET 2022 application form is also expected to be released on April 2. However, confirmation on NEET 2022 form dates from NTA is still awaited. Candidates who aspire to take admission in MBBS and BDS courses can register themselves on neet.nta.nic.in.

More than 15 lakh students appear for the entrance exam every year and numbers are expected to remain almost the same this year too. As per the recent development, authorities have made some specific changes to the NEET 2022 entrance exam this year. Aspirants are advised to read further to get acquainted with the changes that could be done in NEET UG 2022 and medical courses this year.

NEET upper age limit removed: NMC has scrapped the upper age limit for NEET 2022 aspirants. Previously the upper age limit for general candidates was 25 years and that of reserved candidates was 30 years. This will give opportunities to those candidates who aspire to become a doctor but were limited due to age criteria.

NEET 2022: Same fees on 50% seats of Private colleges: The government has taken another big decision according to which private colleges will have to charge 50% of their seats according to the government fee structure. This will benefit many poor students to get private college facilities while paying government fees.

NEET UG 2022 application form confirmation page on Digilocker: The confirmation page of NEET UG 2022 will soon be available on Digilocker. It can be accessed from Digilocker app and website digilocker.gov.in. Candidates have to sign up and use the Digilocker application.

Changes in NEET UG 2022 exam pattern: NEET 2022 is expected to be conducted with a new exam pattern this year. The exam paper is expected to be divided into two sections comprising 35 compulsory questions in the first section and 15 questions in the second section out of which candidates have to attempt any 10. It is to be noted that all the questions will have multiple choice.
