Soon after NEET UG results are declared, medical colleges release their cut-offs, which determine admission through opening and closing ranks. AIIMS New Delhi will also announce its MBBS cutoff 2026. Candidates seeking admission must meet the prescribed cutoff based on their categories, such as General, OBC, EWS, SC, and ST. In 2025, the closing rank for MBBS admission at AIIMS Delhi was 48 for general category candidates in Round 1. For PwD candidates, the closing rank reached 3,14,055 in the third round.
NEET expected cutoff 2026 for AIIMS Delhi (based on past trends) indicates general category candidates may need to secure a rank within the top 50–60, while OBC candidates could fall within 250–260 ranks. For SC and ST categories, the expected rank range may extend up to around 1,000 and 1,700 respectively.

Factors determining cut-off include the number of applicants appearing for the MBBS course, the difficulty level of the entrance examination, and the total number of seats available. Additionally, the candidate’s category and the reservation policy play a crucial role.
