Rajasthan NEET UG counselling 2023 will be conducted soon in three rounds at the Rajasthan NEET UG official website -- rajneetug2023.in.

Rajasthan NEET UG counselling 2023 round one will start soon on rajneetug2023.in. Candidates seeking admission to Rajasthan MBBS 2023, will have a total of three rounds of counselling conducted by the authority.

Based on the NEET UG 2023 scores, MCC has started a round 1 of NEET counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government colleges and 100% in deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, AIIMS, and JIPMER. The counselling for the remaining 85% state quota seats will be held by the counselling authority of the respective states.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Specialty, also known as NEET SS, for admission to 2,447 Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgie (MCh) seats in 156 institutes across India. The NEET SS exam 2023 will be conducted on September 9 and 10 in computer-based mode.

During the MCC NEET UG 2023 counselling session, eligible candidates will have to follow the steps given below

• Register for NEET UG counselling 2023 round 1.
• Fill in their choice of course and college.
• Pay the required fee.

The NEET UG 2023 score will be valid for only one year for the academic session 2023-24 whereas for candidates wishing to pursue medicine abroad, the NEET result will be valid for three years.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) started the round 1 registration for NEET 2023 All India Quota counselling at mcc.nic.in after the declaration of NEET UG results 2023. The NEET UG 2023 exam was held on May 7, 2023. Over 20 lakh NEET appeared candidates took the exam in pen and paper mode.

Gujarat NEET UG counselling 2023 registration started on July 15. Candidates can register for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes on the official website, medadmgujarat.org. The last date to register is July 24.

AIIMS Delhi retained the first position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking 2023 for the medical category. It was followed by the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh whereas the Christian Medical College Vellore (CMC Vellore) grabbed the third spot.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has allowed the candidates who applied for Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2023 to edit their application form by 9 pm of July 22. "Candidates can edit/modify the application details entered by them through online according to their eligibility," KEA added. It asked OCI candidates to choose the "Z" clause code only. 

The National Medical Commission (NMC) said that it will only make public the latest medical college assessment results and ratings of the colleges and not full reports. The announcement was made in the “Establishment of medical institutions, assessment and rating regulations, 2023,”. The section 25 of the regulations which deal with the starting of new medical colleges, assessment, increasing of medical seats in the country states, "the MARB shall make available on its website or otherwise in the public domain the latest annual assessment results and ratings of medical colleges or medical institutions, in such a manner as to facilitate public understanding and consumption.”

The Directorate of Medical Education, West Bengal has released the West Bengal NEET UG counselling 2023 schedule on the official website, wbmcc.nic.in. The online registration will start from July 25. 

Uttar Pradesh will start a medical college in every district, Alok Kumar, principal secretary, department of medical education told Careers360. This year, 13 government medical colleges are starting the academic session 2023-24 adding 1,000 MBBS seats.

The Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has commenced the registration for Andhra Pradesh NEET UG counselling 2023 on the official website, drysruhs.edu.in. The last date to register is July 26. OC, BC candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,950 whereas Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe candidates will have to submit Rs 2,360.

AIIMS Delhi is changing the way it teaches final-year MBBS students as they found out that students are more busy in attending NEET coaching for entrance exams such as NEET PG and are not attending classroom lectures. The institute formed a committee including faculty members to suggest improvements in the methods of teaching and practical training.

NEET UG Counselling 2023: AIIMS Delhi is changing teaching methods for final-year students, will be offering UG admissions through NEET. 

Telangana NEET UG counselling 2023 application process is underway on the official website, tsmedadm.tsche.in 2023. Candidates applying for the counselling process will have to pay Rs 3,500. The application fee for reserved categories is Rs 2,900.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research notified that it has published the eligibility lists for NRI, linguistic minority (Telugu, Malayalam), Christian minority, and CMC Vellore categories. Candidates can raise grievances against the lists, if any, by July 21 at tnmedicalselection.net.

Telangana NEET UG counselling 2023 official website is knruhs.telangana.gov.in as the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) conducts the MBBS counselling process for the state every year. KNRUHS has asked candidates who have applied for Persons with Disability (PwD) quota to appear for assessment between July 21 to July 23. The university has issued the rank-wise schedule for the candidates who have applied for MBBS admissions on the official website. 

While the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to commence the registration for AIQ MBBS seats in NEET UG counselling 2023 at mcc.nic.in today, states such as Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Karnataka, Meghalaya have already started the state NEET counselling 2023 process on their individual websites.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS), Port Blair has announced state NEET UG counselling 2023 dates for admission to 97 state-quota MBBS seats out of a total of 117 approved seats. As per the schedule, the registration will begin from tomorrow, July 21 and the last date to apply is July 28. Candidates will be able to apply on the official website of ANIIMS. The provisional merit list will be uploaded on July 29 and the final merit list on August 1.

The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences, Shillong (NEIGRIHMS) has released the list of candidates who applied for MBBS seats for Meghalaya NEET UG counselling 2023. Candidates can check the list on the official website, neigrihms.gov.in. The list includes name of applicant, domicile state, NEET roll number, NEET score, percentile, NEET UG All India Rank, and remarks.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) released the J&K NEET UG application form 2023 on July 19. Eligible candidates will be able to register for J&K NEET 2023 counselling till July 23.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has announced that the choice filling facility for Punjab NEET UG counselling 2023 will begin from July 26 at the official website, bfuhs.ac.in. Candidates of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana would be eligible to participate against the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats conducted by the MCC.

The Uttar Pradesh Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) is expected to soon announce the UP NEET counselling dates for UG at the official website, upneet.gov.in. There will be four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Stray Vacancy Round. All the 4 rounds shall be conducted online by MCC as per the directions the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide order dated 12.12.2022, the MCC NEET UG 2023 counselling brochure said.

The role of MCC of DGHS is limited to the allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choice, which starts only after receiving the list, data and information of successful candidates from NTA.

For Jammu and Kashmir MBBS 2023 admission, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has set certain eligibility criteria to be met by the candidates. These are: 

• Candidates will have to be domiciled in the Union Territory (UT) of J-K or Ladakh.
• Candidates must have successfully completed Class 12 from a recognized institution in the state. A minimum aggregate of 50 percent for unreserved categories and 40 percent for reserved categories is necessary.
• Candidates must be 17 years of age or older on or before December 31, 2023.
• Candidates are also required to meet the minimum cut-off set for NEET 2023 to be eligible for J-K MBBS admission 2023.

The NEET cut-off for government colleges is the last rank and its equivalent scores at which admission to the respective colleges will be granted.

Question: Will MCC allow seats on nomination basis?

Answer: MCC does not allot any seat either on nomination basis or manually. However, central pool nomination seats are maintained by the ministry of defense, ministry of external affairs and other ministries. MCC has no role to play with regard to the same and the counselling of the central pool seats is not conducted by MCC of DGHS, the counselling committee said.
