MCC NEET UG counselling 2025 seat resignation begins for round 1, 2 allotment

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started accepting requests for the NEET UG 2025 counselling round 1 and 2 seat resignations from today, September 19. MCC received various requests from candidates who want to resign from their seats due to various reasons. Candidates can apply for NEET counselling 2025 seat allotment on the official website, mcc.nic.in

As per the official MCC’s notice, round 1 candidates who did not get upgraded in round 2 can resign from their seat without forfeiture of the security deposit within the stipulated time of resignation. However, candidates who have been allotted seats in round 2 but now want to resign can vacate their seats with forfeiture of the security deposit within the given deadline.

Candidates who have been upgraded in NEET round 2 allotment but now want to resign from their seats can vacate their seats with forfeiture of the security deposit.

All the candidates who have been allotted seats will have to physically report to the allotted seat for resignation. The seat letter will be generated online; failing to do so, resignation will be treated as ‘null and void.’

Recently, MCC notified that the NEET UG counselling 2025 round 2 allotment will be revised after a government medical college had mistakenly submitted twice the number of seats than those actually available. However, MCC later clarified that NEET UG 2025 counselling round 2 results will remain unchanged.
