NEET UG Counselling 2026 seat matrix: MCC adds 183 new MBBS, BDS seats in round 3

The Medical Counselling Committee has added a total of 183 new MBBS and BDS seats to round 3 seat matrix of NEET UG Counselling 2026. Seats have been added in medical colleges across Maharashtra, Puducherry, Tripura, Uttarakhand, and the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Maharashtra has the highest number of newly added seats, with 115 seats across one medical college and one dental college. Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Government Medical College, Ahilyanagar, has added 15 MBBS seats under the All India quota. These include four BC, one EW, seven OP, two SC, and one ST seat.

Another 100 BDS seats have been added at Datta Meghe Dental College, Hospital, and Research Centre, Wanadongri, Nagpur. The seats are listed under the deemed university category and self-financed merit seat quota, with all 100 seats falling under the OP category.

In Puducherry, 50 MBBS seats have been added at Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Karaikal. The institute is listed under the deemed university category, with the seats available under the self-financed merit seat quota and OP category.

NEET UG 2026 Round 3: State-wise seat additions

The seat matrix states the total number of newly added seats as 183.

Tripura has received eight new MBBS seats at Agartala Government Medical College. The additions comprise two BC, one EW, three OP, one SC and one ST seat under the All India quota.

Meanwhile, NEET UG counselling registration is underway for round 3 and seat allotment will be out on September 30.
