Try NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued the seat matrix for All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2025. The total number of MBBS seats in AIIMS institutes are 2,000. The registration for MCC NEET UG counselling 2025 round 1 is underway on mcc.nic.in.
The committee briefly paused the choice-filling process for round 1 NEET UG counselling 2025 due to incomplete data and repetition of seats in NEET UG 2025 seat matrix . Some seats were not visible in the MBBS seat matrix or during choice-filling as a few colleges did not submit seat data in the required format. These will be added once corrected by the respective colleges, MCC said.
Additionally, due to a technical glitch, seats of some colleges appeared twice. MCC is removing these duplicate entries.
Around 12.38 lakh candidates will compete for 100% open seats in MBBS programmes offered by AIIMS. There will be four rounds of NEET UG 2025 counselling for AIIMS – round 1, round 2, round 3, and stray vacancy round.
