Download NowNEW DELHI - National Institute of Fashion Technology is now conducting the NIFT 2021 slot 1 in 32 cities amidst COVID 19. Candidates appearing for the NIFT entrance exam were seen carrying NIFT admit card 2021 and other COVID 19 protective items to the exam centres. Candidates had reported to the exam centres at least 2 hours before the commencement of the NIFT 2021 . The test-centres are seen guiding the candidates to their respective room.

NIFT 2021-COVID 19 Guidelines Strictly Implemented
Candidates at the NIFT entrance exam were seen wearing face masks, gloves and carrying transparent hand sanitizer bottles at the exam centres. Thermal checking was done by the test-centres authorities at the entry gate. Students showing the COVID 19 symptoms were not allowed to enter the examination venue. The social distancing norm was strictly followed at the exam centres.
Arrangements to keep the bags
At the NIFT 2021 exam centre, candidates were allowed to carry their bags inside the test centre. Also candidates were allowed to carry with them a tiffin box. Announcement was being made at the NIFT exam centre that candidates would not be allowed to come out after the first shift concludes.
No Entry without the NIFT Admit Card
None of the candidates who had arrived at the NIFT 2021 exam centre were allowed to appear for the exam if they were not carrying with them the admit card. Also those candidates who did not have a valid photo identity proof, were not permitted to appear for the exam.
About NIFT entrance exam
NIFT entrance exam is conducted once in a year at the national level to offer admission to the aspiring students in UG and PG design programmes. NIFT entrance exam consists of three parts - Creative Ability Test(CAT), General Ability Test(GAT) and situation test. The shortlisted candidates will secure admission in any of the 16 campuses of National Institute of Fashion Technology according to the availability of the seats.
