Candidates are advised to carry their original Aadhar card and NIFT 2025 admit card to exam centre for verification purposes. Candidates must reach the exam centre at the reporting time mentioned in the admit card, otherwise, they will not be allowed enter the exam hall.
Candidates are allowed to carry a transparent water bottle, admit card, additional passport–size photograph to paste on the attendance sheet, original ID proof, and a simple ballpoint pen, pencil, erasers, ruler and A-4 transparent acrylic board for BDes, MDes candidates.

NIFT 2025: Exam day instructions
Candidates can check the NIFT 2025 exam day guidelines to be followed:
- Candidates should not adopt any unfair means, or indulge in any unfair practises as the exam centre will be under surveillance of CCTV and are equipped with jammers.
- Candidates are advised to check the reporting time at centre, gate closing time of centre, date, shift and timings, and venue as indicated on the admit card.
- Candidates appearing for both bachelor of design (BDes) and master of design (MDes) programmes are required to bring two sets of admit cards to their respective exam centers.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry any other personal belongings including electronic devices, or mobile phones to the exam cente.
- Candidate should ensure that the question paper available on the computer screen is as per their opted subject, and medium as indicated in the admit card. In case, the subject or medium of the question paper is other than the opted one, candidates must inform their invigilator immediately.
- Candidates will be provided with blank paper sheets for rough work in the exam hall.
