Download NowThe National Institute of Open School (NIOS) will begin the NIOS Class 12th, 10th exams 2025 from today onwards, October 14. Class 12 students are scheduled to appear for the Early Childhood Care and Education paper, while Class 10 students will take the Sanskrit and Entrepreneurship exams. Candidates are advised to carry their NIOS hall ticket for verification purposes at the exam centre.

The NIOS board exams 2025 for the October session will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates can access their NIOS 2025 hall ticket on the official website, sdmis.nios.ac.in.
The NIOS Class 10th and 12th exams 2025 will be held from October 14 to October 18.
Candidates will be given 15 minutes of reading time from 2:15 am to 2:30 pm before the exam begins. The extra time is given for students so that they can examine the question paper without writing their answers during the given period.
Candidates should reach the exam centres at least 30 minutes before to avoid last-minute hassle.

NIOS board exam results 2025
As per the NIOS exams 2025, the results are likely to be declared in seven weeks after the last date of the examination. However, the board will not entertain any inquiries about the actual date of the declaration of results. The result will be made available immediately on the NIOS official website.
The NIOS mark-sheet-cum-certificate and migration-cum-transfer certificate will be issued to the successful candidates directly through their respective Als. In case of cancelled Als these documents will be sent to them by post at their residential addresses available at NIOS by the concerned regional centre.
The NIOS exam fees paid by the candidates entitle them to appear in the theory examination, if otherwise eligible, without having to pay anything extra at the examination centre.
