NLSIU admissions 2024 will begin from February 20. NLSAT international will be held on April 18 and 19. The last date to apply is March 18.

NEW DELHI: The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) has announced admission to the BA LLB (Honors), LLB (Honors), LLM, MPP and PhD programmes for international students for the academic year 2024-25. The application forms will be released on February 20, 2024. The classes will commence on July 1, 2024.
Eligible students will be able to apply for NLSIU admissions 2024 by March 18. The National Law School Admissions Test (NLSAT) international test will be conducted on April 18 and 19.

As per the minimum eligibility criteria, the applicant should be a citizen of a country other than India; and they should have completed a minimum of ten years of their education in a school or university outside India.
Students who have completed Class 12 from a recognized board or school of education with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade are eligible to apply for 5-year BA LLB (honors). Those having a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of not less than 45% are eligible for 3-year LLB (honors).
Candidates having an LLB degree or equivalent having at least 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for LLM while those having a bachelor’s degree in any discipline can apply for master’s programme in public policy.

For PhD programmes, applicant must have a master’s or postgraduate degree in law or any other discipline with an aggregate of not less than 55% of total marks or equivalent grade. Students in the final year of their studies are also eligible to apply for all programmes.
NLSIU offers 15 seats in BA LLB (Honours), six in LLB (Honours), six in LLM, six in MPPP, and three in PhD programmes.
The NLSAT International will consist of two parts and the duration of the exam will be two hours. Part A will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying a total of 50 marks. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer, and for each unanswered question.
Those who pass part A will be eligible for part B test which will consist of subjective questions carrying 25 marks.

Based on part A and part B performance, a rank list will be prepared for the interview. The final rank list will be prepared by consolidating the marks scored in Part A, Part B and the interview. To be offered admission, candidates must secure a cumulative score of 70% or more.
