NLU Meghalaya Admission 2025: The selection for UG courses will be based on MEG UAT and personal interview.

NEW DELHI: The National Law University (NLU) Meghalaya has announced an extension of the admission deadline for its undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes. The NLU) Meghalaya admission 2025 deadline for law courses has been extended to March 18. The NLU Meghalaya admission 2025 form can be accessed by visiting the official website, nlumeg.ac.in. The NLU Meghalaya admission test 2025 will be held on April 5.
As per the NLU Meghalaya UG admission 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates are required to have obtained minimum 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA in Class 12. Candidates who are appearing for their Class 12 exams can also apply by submitting their Class 10 marksheet.
NLU Meghalaya offers three UG programmes:
Bachelor of Arts (Policy Science) and Bachelor of Laws (BA LLB Hons)
Bachelor of Business Administration (FinTech) and Bachelor of Laws (BBA LLB Hons.)
Bachelor of Science (Data Science) and Bachelor of Laws (BS LLB Hons)

General Category: Rs 3,500
Meghalaya State-Domiciled Scheduled Tribes (ST): Rs 2,000
Selection process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the NLU Meghalaya Undergraduate Admission Test (MEG UAT) and personal interview. Shortlisted candidates will receive an email notification for the interview round.
NLU Meghalaya offers the following PG courses:
Master of Laws [LLM (Corporate Law)]
Master of Laws [LLM (Criminal Law)]
Master of Science [MS (Public Policy Analytics)]
Candidates seeking admission to the postgraduate programs at NLU Meghalaya are required to have secured a first division with 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA. Candidates are either required to hold a five-year LLB or BL degree from a recognized university or have completed a three-year LLB or BL degree along with a bachelor's degree.
The registration fee for NLU Meghalaya PG courses is Rs 3,500 for General candidates and Rs 2,000 for Meghalaya state-domiciled scheduled caste candidates.

Selection process:
Admission to NLU Meghalaya PG courses will be based on MEG PAT, followed by a personal interview. The university will notify shortlisted candidates via email for the interview.
NLU Meghalaya offers PhD programmes in various disciplines, including law, policy science, social sciences, humanities, and data science.
Candidates can apply under three categories:
Regular assistantship, individual fellowship (CSIR, UGC, DBT, INSPIRE, ICMR)
Sponsored or working professionals and Judges of HC, SC
Foreign Nationals
Eligibility criteria
Candidates are required to have minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in their qualifying degree. As per the NLU Meghalaya prospectus, exceptions may apply for working professionals and judges.
