NMC asks MBBS students to fill out an online feedback form for medical colleges and institutes

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has asked undergraduate students to fill out an online feedback form for medical colleges and institutes, solely for academic review. The feedback will be gathered for internal academic and quality improvement purposes.

The feedback form will cover responses on teaching quality, infrastructure, clinical training, safety, student safety, curriculum feedback, practical training, and overall administration.

“This feedback is collected solely for internal academic review and quality improvement purposes. Any use of this feedback for external, public, or competitive purposes is prohibited and shall be deemed null and void,” the NMC student feedback form said.

Students will have to enter their MBBS medical college name and the year they are studying in.

NMC to Students: Fill feedback form

Students will have to rate the teaching quality, faculty availability, clinical training and patient exposure, practical training, community medical and rural training, ragging and student safety, curriculum feedback, and college administration policies.

The rating will be done based on five primary options provided – “excellent, very good, good, average, and below average”. The form is divided into 10 sections with 21 questions, including one optional section, wherein students can suggest improvements.

As per the NMC, all the responses entered will be confidential and used for quality improvement only. Students can review and fill out the online form at application.nmc.org.in/student-feedback.
