Due to Covid-19 pandemic, all the PG courses due for recognition were given one year provisional recognition in 2021. Recognition process in the current year is also in process and may take some time, the NMC said.

The clarification comes after the commission received a number of requests from State Medical Councils for knowing the status of recognition of seats which are shown as permitted on the NMC’s website as the same is required by them for registering the additional qualifications.
