ICAR has decided to admit students to 20% All India Quota seats in agricultural universities through CUET UG 2023 instead of AIEEA UG 2023.
NEW DELHI : The Indian Agriculture Research Institute (ICAR) has decided to offer admission to undergraduate programmes in agriculture and allied subjects through the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate (CUET) UG 2023 for the academic year 2023-24. No All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) UG will be conducted this year for admission to UG programmes at agricultural universities. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the decision today.
“It has now been decided by the ICAR that admission to the specified UG courses hitherto being done through ICAR-AIEEA, will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG for the academic year 2023-24. Hence, there would be no ICAR-AIEEA (UG) for admission to UG courses in Agriculture and Allied subjects for 20% ICAR All India Quota Seats, for the academic year 2023-24,” said NTA in an official notice.
