NTA announces UGC NET result and cut off 2018 for December session: know details here

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 5: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the result of UGC NET 2018 for the December session on January 5, 2019. According to the official data of UGC NET, a total of 44001 candidates have qualified for Assistant Professor while 3883 have qualified for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). As many as 956837 candidates had registered for the exam, out of which 681930 candidates had appeared in both the papers of UGC NET.
Candidates can check their December result of UGC NET 2018 by visiting the official website - https://ntanet.nic.in/ntanetcms/public/home.aspx and click on result link. In the login window, candidates have to enter their application number/roll number, date of birth and security pin. The result displays candidates roll number, name, category, subject, subject-wise marks, total marks, percentage of marks, percentile score and qualifying status for JRF or Assistant Professor. Only those candidates have been declared NET qualified who have scored the minimum qualifying marks along the cut off marks determined by the examination authority and stand high on rank to become the top 6% of the total candidates appeared in the exam.
NTA has also released the UGC NET cut off 2018 along with the UGC NET result 2018. The cut off has been released in the form of subject-wise and category wise score.
UGC NET 2018 for the December session was conducted by NTA for the first time in online mode. The exam was conducted for two papers -Paper 1 and 2 from December 18 to 22, 2018 by National Testing Agency (NTA). Till July session 2018, the UGC NET exam was conducted by CBSE. In July session, as many as 55872 candidates had qualified the exam.
