NTA BET 2025 registration deadline today; correction facility from March 30

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2025 registration fee payment window at 11:50 pm today, March 28. The NTA BET 2025 registration fee can be paid by visiting the official website, dbtbet2025.ntaonline.in. The BET 2025 form submission deadline was 5 pm, today.
The NTA BET 2025 exam will be conducted on May 13. The BET 2025 exam will be held in a single session from 10 am to 1 pm. Candidates will also get a chance to edit their BET 2025 form. As per the NTA schedule, the BET 2025 form correction facility will open on March 30. The BET 2025 application correction window will close on March 31.
BET 2025 registration fee
The BET 2025 registration fee for General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) is Rs 1,300. On the other hand, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person with Disabilities (PwD) candidates are required to pay Rs 600 as BET 2025 registration fee.
NTA BET 2025 eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for BET 2025 are as follows
Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or MBBS.

A master’s degree in biotechnology, life Sciences, or related fields, including:
-
Biomedical, bioinformatics, biochemistry, biophysics, botany, chemistry
-
Computational biology, genetics, microbiology, zoology, or any allied area
-

Candidates enrolled in MSc, MTech, MVSc, or MSc (Agri) programmes under the DBT Post Graduate Teaching Programme are also eligible.

Final semester students or those awaiting results can apply.

Minimum marks requirement:

General, EWS, and OBC: Minimum 60% aggregate marks

SC, ST, and Differently Abled: Minimum 55% aggregate marks
Age limit (as of the last application date):

General, EWS: Up to 28 years
-
SC, ST, Differently Abled, and Women: Up to 33 years (5-year relaxation)
-
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Up to 31 years (3-year relaxation)
Nationality:

Candidates are required to be an Indian citizens and residents.

Candidates who are appearing for their final qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
BET 2025 exam pattern
The BET 2025 exam will be conducted in online mode. The duration of the BET 2025 exam is 3 hours. The BET 2025 paper will consist of 200 questions. Candidates will be required to attempt 100 questions in total. The medium of the BET 2025 question paper is English. The BET 2025 will carry a total of 300 marks. As per the BET 2025 marking scheme, candidates will get 3 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
