NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that it will be conducting the entrance test for admission to Diploma in Sport Coaching at the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) Patiala, commonly called the National Institute of Sports. NTA will conduct a computer-based exam on June 18, 2022 from 3pm to 4pm. Candidates can apply at the official website of NSNIS – nsnis.org before May 22.
“It is hereby informed that the Admission Test for Diploma in Sport Coaching of the National Institute of Sports for admission to the academic session 2022-23 will be held by National Testing Agency,” said an official notice from NTA.

The admission test will be Multiple-choice questions (MCQ) based and will comprise of 60 MCQ questions. Candidates can check the syllabus of the test and eligibility criteria on the official website – nsnis.org.
The entrance test will be conducted in Ahmedabad, Ambala, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai,Coimbatore, Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad,, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode,Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, NOIDA, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, Visakhapatnam, Dhaka and Kathmandu.

Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking. Section 1 (On specialised sports theory) will be different for each candidate, as per the specialised sports opted by him/her. Other sections are common for all, said NTA.
The medium of the exam will be bilingual, both Hindi and English except the Section on Language and Communication which will be in English only.
NTA will release the admit cards for the entrance test and will display provisional answer keys and recorded responses of each candidate on atdsc.nis.nta.ac.in.
