NEW DELHI: At least 18,000 students did not appear for the Odisha Class 10 summative assessment-2 exam 2023. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha commenced SA 2 exams 2023 for Odisha Class 10 matriculation students on March 10.

As per the SA 2 exam date 2023 Odisha, the Class 10 board exams 2023 will continue till March 20. The Odisha Board is holding the exam in one shift from 8 AM to 10 AM.

“Since the government has waived the fees this year, it is obvious that the student would not find it compelling to appear at the examination and may drop out of it,” the Hindustan Times report quoted school education minister Samir Ranjan Dash.

He also informed that the department will take up the matter seriously and find the cause.
