The Odisha NEET UG counselling 2026 Round 2 registration has begun today, September 7, for candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programmes under the state quota. A total of 266 MBBS and BDS seats are vacant after round 1 admission, according to the vacancy position released by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).

The vacancies include 164 government MBBS seats, 13 government BDS seats, 204 private MBBS seats and 89 private BDS seats. Candidates eligible for Odisha NEET UG round 2 counselling can register for preparation of the state merit list until September 8, 2026, at 11:59 pm.
The revised Odisha NEET UG 2026 state merit list will be published on September 9 at 2 pm. Candidates included in the merit list will then be required to fill and lock their choices for round 2 of NEET UG counselling 2026 .
Odisha NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2: Steps to register
Candidates can register for Odisha NEET UG 2026 round 2 through the official OJEE website by following the steps given below.
- Visit the official OJEE website at odishajee.com.
- Go to the MBBS/BDS Counselling section or the medical counselling candidate activity link.
- Select the link for round 2 counselling/registration for MBBS and BDS under state quota.
- Enter the required NEET UG 2026 details and candidate information.
- Complete the registration form with the required personal, academic and counselling details.
- Upload the required documents, wherever applicable.
- Review all the details entered in the application form carefully.
- Submit the registration form and complete the prescribed fee payment, if applicable.
- Save or download the registration confirmation/application details for future reference.

Odisha NEET UG 2026 Round 2: Vacancy details
According to the vacancy position after the first round of admission, 137 government MBBS seats are vacant without EWS seats, while another 27 government MBBS seats are vacant with EWS, taking the government MBBS vacancy to 164 seats.
Among government medical colleges, SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack has the highest number of vacant seats at 81. It is followed by MKCG Medical College, Berhampur, with 18 seats, while VIMSAR, Burla has 11, SLN Medical College, Koraput has 10 and PMPMC, Talcher has seven vacant seats.
