OPSC Odisha Civil Services exam 2024 registration begins; last date to apply February 10
Candidates can apply for the Odisha civil service exam through the official website at opsc.gov.in. There are 265 vacancies available for civil services posting.

NEW DELHI : The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has begun the registration for OPSC Civil Service Examination 2024. Candidates can apply for the Odisha civil service exam through the official website at opsc.gov.in. The recruitment drive aims to fill 265 positions across various state departments.
The OPSC CSE 2024 comprises three stages including preliminary exam, a main exam, and an interview round. The preliminary round includes two objective-type papers, each carrying 200 marks.
After the results are declared for the main written exam, qualified candidates will have to appear for the Interview, and personality test and print a hard copy of the application form along with the other required documents.
According to the latest update, the preliminary exam of OPSC Civil Service 2024 will be held tentatively in July 2025. The detailed schedule and exam centre will be notified in due course. Candidates who qualify in the personal interview round will be considered for the recruitment.
Candidates who qualify for the preliminary round exam will be required to submit a printout of the application form along with photocopies of other relevant documents.
OPSC Civil Service exam 2024 pattern
The OPSC Civil Service exam will consist of two general studies papers of 200 marks each. There will be negative marking 1/3rd marks for incorrect answers. The main exam will include qualifying, compulsory, and optional subjects.
According to the eligibility requirements for the exam, candidates must have a recognised degree by the government and the candidate must have attained the age of 21 years, and must not be above the age of 38 years as of January 1, 2024. Candidates eligible to appear for the exam will be given six attempts to qualify for the exam and there will be no such limit for SC, ST category candidates
