OSSTET 2023: Registrations begin at bseodisha.ac.in, direct link

NEW DELHI: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE Odisha) has commenced the registration process for the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2023. Interested candidates can fill the OSSTET 2023 application form on the official website at bseodisha.ac.in.

The deadline to submit the OSSTET 2023 application form is December 22, and the last date for the payment of application fee is December 21.

OSSTET 2023 consists of two papers- papers 1 and 2. Paper 1 will be conducted for appointment of teachers for classes 1 to 5, paper 2 will be conducted for appointment of teachers classes 6 to 8.

Each paper of OSSTET 2023 is of total 150 marks. The duration of each paper is 2 hours 30 minutes.

The application fee is Rs 600 for candidates belonging to the general and Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) category and Rs 400 for scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.

The OSSTET 2023 qualifying marks for candidates belonging to the general category is 45%. However, for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PH or SEBC categories the minimum passing mark is 35% which is 53 marks out of 150.

• On the homepage, click on the registration option.

• Register yourself by entering details such as name, email id, contact information.

• Next, login by entering credentials generated during registration.

• Fill in the application form with required details.

• Upload required documents and pay the fees.

• Download and take a printout of the confirmation page.
