NEW DELHI, MAY 2: Apart from earning laurels in the field of academics, GLA University, Mathura has also been able to get its students placed in organizations of repute. In the current academic session, the university has already successfully placed more than 1800 students in 190 international and national organizations.
Majority of the placed students have landed their dream jobs and would progress towards research-oriented MNCs. The companies visiting the university selected the students after a rigorous selection process which comprised of written test, group discussion, psychometric test, and personal interview.
The selected students attributed their success to the hands-on approach being adopted by the university in terms of regularly updating course curricula, introduction of relevant programmes, research and development initiatives, governance, leadership and management, infrastructure, teaching learning and evaluation, innovation and best practices, student support and progression and a host of other initiatives which are adopted by the university from time to time.
Expressing his happiness on this achievement, Treasurer and Secretary Society, Neeraj Agrawal said that every year close to 250 companies visit the university in connection with recruiting the students in various roles. Students, in the past, have been selected for packages as high as 22 lpa and are rendering their services in every major country of the globe.
