President Ram Nath Kovind to inaugurate permanent campus of IIM Nagpur Sunday

IIM Nagpur: Rashtrapati Bhavan said President Ram Nath Kovind will inaugurate the permanent campus of IIM Nagpur at Dahegaon in Nagpur on Sunday.
NEW DELHI: President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Maharashtra tomorrow, May 8, 2022, to inaugurate the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur, which was established in 2015. In a statement on Saturday, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said Kovind will inaugurate the permanent campus of IIM Nagpur at Dahegaon in Nagpur on Sunday.
The inauguration of IIM Nagpur is scheduled to be held at 10 am. The institute has asked the guests to be seated by 9 am citing security reasons. "We are delighted to inform you that the Hon’ble President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, shall be inaugurating the Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM-N) New Campus on May 8 at 10 AM at MIHAN Nagpur. For security reasons, kindly be seated by 9:00 am," said a tweet from the official Twitter account of IIM Nagpur. CP Gurnani, chairman of the board of governors of IIM Nagpur will also be present at the occasion.

Recently, IIM Jammu had to postpone its convocation event scheduled to be held on April 27 as Kovind could not visit the campus on the scheduled date. He was the chief guest at IIM Jammu's fifth annual convocation event.
