PSEB Punjab board Class 8 date sheet 2026 out; exam from February 17 to 27

Punjab Class 8th Time Table 2026: The practical exams will be conducted from February 2 to February 12 at the school level.
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has issued the date sheet for the Punjab board Class 8 annual exam 2026. As per the official tie table, the PSEB Punjab board Class 8 exam 2026 will be conducted from February 17 to February 27.
The exam will be held in the morning session from 11 am to 2:15 pm. Students will be given an additional 15 minutes to read the question paper before writing the exam. The exam will begin with English and be followed by Punjabi (First Language), Hindi (First Language), and Urdu (First Language) on February 19.
PSEB has clarified that the exam for students with special abilities will be conducted at the school level. The board further states that cutting and sewing and needle work are practical-only subjects, and no written exam will be held for these subjects.

Punjab Class 8th practical exam date 2026
Regarding practical examinations, PSEB has informed that these will be conducted at the school level between February 2 and February 12, 2026, at the convenience of students.
Schools have been asked to schedule practical exams in a manner that avoids clashes between subjects for any student. “The centre superintendent must ensure that all candidates are informed in advance about the dates of their practical examinations,” the board said.
As per the official notice, the board will not supply question papers for practical subjects. The practical question papers will be prepared by the concerned subject teachers at the school level. The answer sheets of practical exams will remain in the custody of the school head for record and verification purposes.
PSEB has further instructed that marks obtained in practical examinations should be uploaded to the board through the designated app within three days from the start date of the practical examinations.
The board has also issued the PSEB Class 10, 12 board exam 2026 time table . As per the official date sheet, the PSEB Class 10 board exam 2026 will be conducted from March 6 to March 27 while PSEB Class 12 board exam 2026 will be conducted from February 17 to April 1. Students can also download the official PSEB board exam date sheet 2026 through the official website at pseb.ac.in.
