Punjab University postgraduate exams clash with UGC NET 2023 dates

The postgraduate exams which are clashing with UGC NET 2023 dates will be conducted in the month of February 2024.
NEW DELHI : The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the UGC NET December 2023 exam tomorrow, December 6, 2023. The semester exam dates for various subjects at Panjab University are clashing with the UGC-NET exam, which is scheduled to be conducted till December 14.
After receiving representations from postgraduate course final year students that they will be taking the UGC NET December 2023 exam, which will conflict with their university exams, the university advised all chairpersons of departments and principals of colleges to inform such students that they can take the UGC NET exam if they wish.
"Their papers, in which a clash of date happens, will be conducted along with the clash exams to be conducted in the month of February 2024. Authenticated list of such students may be supplied to this office within 10 days of the papers left by the students (including name, Class, University Roll No. and Contact number) along with the admit card of the UGC NET," reads the official notification.
Candidates appearing for UGC NET exam 2023 should carry their NET admit card and a valid ID proof to the exam centre.
According to the UGC NET exam pattern 2023, both Paper 1 and Paper 2 include multiple-choice questions (MCQ)s with no negative marking. Paper 1 carries a total of 100 marks. Paper 2 carries a total of 200 marks, with each question worth two marks. The exam will be of three hours and will be conducted in online mode.
