QS Rankings 2026 for management colleges
Recently, as per the QS World University Ranking by Subject 2026 , IIM Kozhikode has secured 78th position worldwide in the narrow subject category of business and management studies.
The rankings highlighted a leap from 141st rank to 78th position this year, breaking into the top 100 colleges worldwide.
IIM Kozhikode’s progress shows a steady rise, climbing from the 401-450 band in 2021 to the 151-200 range by 2024. In 2025, the institute achieved a rank of 141 for the first time, and it is now placed among the top 100 institutions globally in its domain.
QS President Nunzio Quacquarelli said: “Executive MBA programmes remain one of the most compelling investments a mid-career professional can make. Salary uplifts are well-documented, peer networks are invaluable, and demand for high-quality cohort-based programmes continues to grow. For organisations willing to sponsor talent, the return, in retention, capability and leadership pipeline, is equally hard to ignore.”
