Ramaiah University offers PG Diploma in Facility Management; Register at hospitality.msruas.ac.in
Ramaiah University led-PGDFM programme is 11-months long, which will be offered in trimester scheme. Engineering graduates eligible to apply.

NEW DELHI : The Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), Bangalore has invited applications for its newly introduced course titled 'Post Graduate Diploma in Facility Management " (PGDFM). Candidates desirous of applying for the course will have to log on to hospitality.msruas.ac.in.
A statement from the university said that the duration of the PGDFM course is 11 months, which will be offered in the trimester scheme. The statement further read that through this course, candidates will acquire the skills required in Facility Management, including engineering, science and business management. The students will be made to undergo case studies by experts from the industry, and will be required to do a project in the final trimester.
Ramaiah University officials, highlighting the features of the course, said: "Facility Management is an organisational function which integrates people, places and process within the built environment with the purpose of improving the quality of life of people and the productivity of the core business".

Ramaiah University PGDFM eligibility criteria
Candidates who hold an undergraduate degree in hotel management, business management, engineering and science streams are eligible to apply for the course.
The official notification released by the university said that the candidates faring well in the PGDFM course will also become eligible to receive scholarship by Schevaran Cleanfix foundation, based in Switzerland. They will then be able to pursue a three-week long course at the foundation, at the end of which, they will receive a certificate from the Swiss government.
