Reliance Foundation offers scholarships to 100 UG, PG talented students across India
Under the Reliance scholarship programme, 60 UG students will be given upto Rs 4 lakh each, 40 PG students will be given upto Rs 6 lakh each.

NEW DELHI: The Reliance Foundation has called for applications for a scholarship programme for 100 talented students in the country including 60 undergraduate and 40 postgraduate. Eligible and interested candidates can apply at scholarships.reliancefoundation.org.
The last date to apply for the scholarship programme is February 14, 2022, and the selection of scholars will be announced in June 2022.

Eligibility Criteria of the scholarship programme:
- All first-year UG and PG students from institutions across India pursuing degree programmes in artificial Intelligence, computer sciences, mathematics and computing, and electrical and/or electronics engineering are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Under the scholarship programme, around 60 UG students will receive a grant of up to Rs 4 lakh each, while around 40 PG students will be given up to Rs 6 lakh each for the duration of their course.

Selection process for the scholarship
- Selection of students for the scholarship programme includes an online application and interviews with a panel of leading Indian and international experts.
- Applicants will have to fill personal, academic and extra-curricular details along with providing two letters of reference and two essays.
“Scholars will also benefit from additional engagement and development activities (including the chance to attend talks and workshops with leading global experts, opportunities to apply for mentoring/internships, volunteering opportunities, a strong alumni network and more), and will join a vibrant community of scholars that will be at the forefront of creating and building a new India,” the official website said.

Students will be awarded on the basis of their merit and applicants from across all socio-economic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
In the first cycle of scholarships conducted in 2020-21, 76 first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students were awarded the Reliance Foundation scholarships in artificial intelligence (AI) and computer sciences.
