CSAB 2026: Round 2 seat allotment results out at csab.nic.in; report by August 18

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has announced the CSAB special round 2 seat allotment results for 2026 admissions. Candidates who participated in the special rounds of the CSAB counselling process can check their CSAB round 2 seat allotment results 2026.

Candidates can log in with their CSAB registration credentials on the official website, csab.nic.in, and check their allotment status. The CSAB round 2 seat allotment will be based on the candidates’ Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) main rank, choices submitted during counselling, and seat availability.

According to the official CSAB schedule, candidates must complete seat acceptance fee payment, document upload, and online reporting from August 12 to August 14, respond to queries by August 17, and report to the allotted college by August 18, 2026.

How to download CSAB 2026 round 2 seat allotment?

Candidates can follow these steps to download their allotment result.

  • Visit the official admissions portal, csab.nic.in

  • Click on the CSAB round 2 seat allotment results link

  • Enter the required login details

  • Submit to view the allotment result

  • Download the allotment letter and keep a copy for future use

The downloaded allotment letter will be required for the online reporting and admission process.

What after seat allotment?

Candidates can choose any one of the following options based on their admission preference.

  • Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and confirm admission

  • Slide: Accept the seat and opt for a higher preference course within the same institute.

  • Float: Accept the seat but remain eligible for an upgrade to a higher-preference institute or programme

  • Surrender: Reject the allotted seat as per CSAB rules

  • Withdraw/Exit: Give up the allotted seat and withdraw from the counselling process

Students must visit the official CSAB website for further counselling updates.
