NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will close the registration window for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment exam 2024 today, August 29. Eligible candidates should fill out the RRB JE application form 2024 today through the official website, rrbapply.gov.in.
The RRB recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 7,951 junior engineer vacancies in the organization. Of these, 17 vacancies are for chemical supervisor, research and metallurgical supervisor, research posts under RRB Gorakhpur. The remaining 7,934 vacancies are for junior engineers, depot material superintendents, and chemical and metallurgical assistant posts.
Candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) will have an examination fee of Rs 250. Candidates from all other categories will pay an examination fee of Rs 500. As per the official notice, Rs 400 will be refunded, after deducting bank charges, upon appearing in the first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT).
The board will open the RRB JE 2024 application correction window from August 30, 2024, to September 8, 2024. Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 250 to edit the RRB application form 2024. If a candidate changes their community status from SC, ST to UR, OBC, or EWS, they will need to pay an additional Rs 250, along with the modification fee.
