RRB JE Recruitment 2026: Railways to fill 4,098 JE, DMS and CMA posts; apply from August 14

Candidates aged between 18 and 33 can access the online RRB JE application form 2026 from their respective regional websites. Detailed notification soon.
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have issued an indicative notification for the recruitment of 4,098 vacancies for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 04/2026.
As per the notification, the online RRB JE 2026 application form process is tentatively scheduled to begin on August 14, 2026. The last date to access the RRB JE online apply link 2026 is September 13, 2026. Candidates applying for the RRB JE recruitment 2026 must be 18 to 33 years of age as on January 1, 2027.
The RRB JE 2026 recruitment will be conducted for posts carrying pay level 6 under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) with an initial pay of Rs 35,400 per month.

The detailed RRB JE notification 2026 will be released soon, which will contain eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, selection process, application fee, reservation policy and other instructions.

Candidates will be able to access the detailed RRB JE 2026 notification and submit applications through the common RRB recruitment portal and the websites of the respective RRBs once the application window opens.

Candidates have been advised to verify their primary details using their Aadhaar while filling out the online RRB JE 2026 application to avoid delays during document verification. The RRB JE 2026 notification also states that the name and date of birth in Aadhaar should exactly match the details mentioned in the Class 10 certificate. Applicants should also update their Aadhaar with their latest photograph and biometric details before submitting the application form.
