The Railway Recruitment Board decided to conduct the RRB NTPC exam in two sessions. But according to the protestors and candidates, it is unfair to ask them to appear for the second exam as only one exam was mentioned in the RRB notification in 2019. Around 60 lakh candidates had appeared for the RRB NTPC exams competing for the 35,000 vacancies. Due to the continuing protests , RRB had decided to postpone the RRB NTPC CBT 2 and level 1 exams, which was supposed to be conducted from February 15 to 19.

The AISA had called for Bihar bandh, and the SFI organised a protest at Rail Bhavan, Delhi, against the police brutality on protesting aspirants of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
