Sanskriti University ranks first in filing the highest number of patents

Sanskriti University has also achieved a milestone by filing more than 1,155 patents in the fields of chemistry, pharmacy, mechanical engineering and others.
NEW DELHI: Sanskriti University, Mathura, has bagged the first position in filing the highest number of patents. According to the official release, the university has filed 703 patents in the academic institutions and Universities category and 115 patents in the field of information technology. The university also holds the fourth spot among the top five applicants for the most patents in the field of information technology.
India's Controller General of Patents, Designs, and Trademarks has released the rankings for academic institutions and multinationals for the years 2021-2022. Sanskriti University has also achieved a milestone by filing more than 1,155 patents in the fields of chemistry, pharmacy, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and computer science engineering.
While expressing views on this achievement, Sachin Gupta, Chancellor, Sanskriti University, said: “In the category of academic institutions, Sanskriti University become the top leading institution, holding the first position. We have also been ranked fourth in the top five among the major Indian IT company TCS, in the field of information technology.”
