SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026: Candidates can apply online till August 31 and appear for the preliminary exam in September.
The State Bank of India (SBI) has published the clerk notification 2026 for recruitment to the post of junior associate (Customer Support and Sales). The online SBI Clerk registration process has started for 7,680 regular vacancies. Eligible candidates can submit their SBI Clerk application form 2026 till August 31 on the official website at sbi.bank.in

Candidates applying for SBI Clerk recruitment 2026 must be graduates in any discipline from a recognised university and should be 20 to 28 years old as per the eligibility date specified by SBI. Age relaxation will apply to reserved categories according to government rules. Applicants must also meet the prescribed local language requirement for the state or Union Territory they select.

SBI Clerk vacancy 2026
SBI has notified 7,680 regular junior associate vacancies across different circles. Among the major circles, Maharashtra/Mumbai Metro has the highest number of vacancies at 1,718, followed by Chennai with 1,410, Bhubaneswar with 1,100 and Bengaluru with 760.

Apart from the regular vacancies, SBI has reported 1,444 backlog vacancies. These include 287 SC/ST/OBC vacancies, 355 PwD vacancies and 802 XS vacancies.

As per the SBI Clerk notification 2026, the pay scale for junior associates is Rs 24,050 to Rs 64,480. The starting basic pay is Rs 26,730, which includes the basic pay of Rs 24,050 along with two advance increments admissible to graduates.
