As many as 45 scholarships for students who have cleared Class 10 or are in college have their deadlines coming up soon. A wide array of post-matric scholarships for students from marginalised communities such as the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), girls, disabled candidates and those from families in the armed forces, railways or certain types of mining are on offer. These are open for application now but with deadlines from January 15 to 31.
Some scholarships are specifically for students pursuing technical education and one set is for postgraduate students. Given below is the full list of scholarships with deadlines coming up over the two weeks.
Post-matric scholarships 2022
Goa
1. Name of scholarship : Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Post- Matric Scholarship for ST Students - Goa
Provided by: Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India
Eligibility
(i) Be a domicile of Goa, belonging to ST community
(ii) Family income not exceeding more than Rs 2.5 lakh per annum
(iii) Studying post matriculation courses in any institute or university recognised by the government

Manipur
2. Name of scholarship : Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students - Manipur
Provided by: Central government
Eligibility :
(i) Belong to Scheduled Tribe and have passed the matriculation or higher secondary or any higher examination from a recognized university or Board of secondary education
(ii) All children from the same parents or guardians are entitled to receive benefits of the scheme
(iii) Medicine post graduate students are eligible only if they are not allowed to practice during period of the course
