SEBA declares Assam HSLC result, boys outperform girls

NEW DELHI, May 25: The Assam Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) has declared Assam 10th Board result on May 25, 2018. The overall pass percentage is 56.04. 59% boys have cleared the exam, outperforming girls by 6%. Students who appeared in the exam can check their result online by entering their roll number and captcha. The board has also released the merit list, along with the result. Students can collect their mark sheets from their respective schools from 11am today.

As per official website, in 2018, a total of 3, 37,570 students appeared in class 10 examination in Assam. A total number of candidates who secured first division is 60,987. The number of students who bagged second and third position are 81,853 and 46,351 respectively.

The names of the top three students in English medium are Raktim Bhuyan (Moonlit High School), Arbi Chaliha (Suderashan Public School), Hritick Shyam Saikia (St Mary's High School). Students who secured top three positions in the Assamese medium are Preetpal Bezbaruah (Tihu High School), Sima Queen Kashyap (Pioneer Academy Puthimari), Debasish Bharadwaj (Chamata Higher Secondary School).

Assam 10th board was conducted from February 16 to March 8, 2018. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for revaluation within 15 days from the date of declaration of result.
