SSC CGL 2018 Exam Postponed till further notice

SSC CGL Tier 1 exam has been postponed till further notice. The Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL was scheduled to be conducted from July 25 to August 20, however, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) did not release any notice officially, neither there is any information whether the exam was held or not. However, this information (of the exam not being held) has been confirmed by the official calendar of SSC CGL wherein it reads ‘To be notified later (CBE)’. This means that as per the new exam calendar the dates for the exam would be announced in due course. The admit card of SSC CGL Tier 1 is likely to be released anytime soon.
SSC CGL admit card 2018 of Tier 1 will be available online region-wise. To download the admit card, candidates will have to enter registration number/roll number/name and date of birth. The admit card will mention candidate’s name, roll number, password, date of birth, date, time and centre of exam. Along with the admit card, candidates will have to carry at least one photo-identity proof to the examination centre.
The Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL will be held in computer based mode consisting of four sections - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. The exam will be held for 60 minutes. Total marks allotted for the exam is 200. Based on the marks scored in Tier 1, candidates will be selected for Tier 2 exam. SSC will fix separate cutoffs for Paper III (Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) Posts), Paper IV (Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer Posts) and Paper I & III (all other posts).
