NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conclude the SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) 2024 application tomorrow, August 25. The SSC JHT 2024 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in October or November 2024. Eligible candidates should fill out the SSC JHT 2024 application form through the official website at ssc.gov.in.
The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 312 vacancies for various Group-B non-gazetted posts including junior Hindi translator, junior translation officer, junior translator, senior Hindi translator, and senior translator for various ministries in the Government of India.
The commission will open the SSC JHT 2024 application form correction window for two days, from September 4 to September 5, 2024. The SSC JHT admit card 2024 will be available 7 to 10 days before the exam date.
Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 to register for the SSC CGL exam 2024. However, specific categories of candidates, such as women, scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), and ex-servicemen (ESM), who are eligible for reservation, are exempted from paying the application fee. The last date for making online fee payments is August 26.
Candidates must be between 18 years old and 30 years old as of August 1, 2024, meaning they should have been born no earlier than August 2, 1994, and no later than August 1, 2006. However, there are relaxations in the upper age limit for candidates from reserved categories.

SSC JHT 2024: Exam pattern
The SSC JHT 2024 exam will have four sections including tier 1, tier 2, document verification, and a medical examination. The SSC JHT 2024 tier 1 exam carries 200 questions. As per the marking scheme, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, while 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
