SSC MTS notification 2025 out; registration begins for multi-tasking staff, Havaldar posts

SSC MTS 2025 will be held from September 20 to October 24. Candidates can apply on ssc.gov.in by July 24.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the notification for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) examination 2025 for recruitment of multi-tasking staff, Havaldar, general central service group ‘C’ non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts. 1,075 vacancies have been notified for the Havaldar posts while those for MTS are being collected. As per SSC MTS notification 2025, eligible candidates can apply for the exam on the official website, ssc.gov.in, by July 24, 2025. The last date for making fee payment is June 27.
The age limit for SSC MTS post has been fixed as 18-25 years as on August 1, 2025, candidates not born before August 2, 2000 and not later than August 1, 2007. For Havaldar posts, aspirants in the age of 18-27 years (not born before August 2, 1998 and not later than August 1, 2007).
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed matriculation or Class 10 or equivalent examination from a recognized board on or before the cut-off date, August 1, 2025.

Applicants will be required to pay Rs 100 to complete the registration process. Women and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) categories are exempted from fee payment. The fee can be paid online through UPI, net banking, or debit card.

The commission will provide a period of three days to candidates for making corrections in their SSC MTS application form 2025. Applicants will be allowed to edit their details twice by paying Rs 200 for the first time and Rs 500 for the second time.
SSC MTS 2025 exam pattern
SSC MTS 2025 will be held as a computer-based examination while the exam for Havaldar post will include a CBT and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST) from September 20, 2025 to October 24, 2025.
The exam will be held in two sessions, both on the same day. The question paper will consist of objective-type, Multiple-choice Questions. The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and in 13 regional languages. The exam scheme for CBE is given below.
