Candidates can edit their OTR details till June 30 through the official website at ssc.gov.in.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has allowed candidates to modify their One Time Registration (OTR) details. Eligible candidates can make changes in their OTR details from June 19 to June 30 through the candidates' login portal at ssc.gov.in.
The decision follows multiple requests from candidates who were unable to update their OTR entries, particularly those related to Other Backwards Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category status and educational qualifications. Candidates will have to enter their registration number and password to modify the OTR details.
The Commission had earlier announced that Aadhaar-enabled OTR would be implemented from June 2, 2025, for the 2025 examination cycle. It had also stated that editing of the existing OTR form would be permitted only till May 31, 2025.
“Multiple representations have been received in the Commission regarding the inability of the candidates to modify the OTR details, especially related to OBC/EWS category status and educational qualifications. Accordingly, the Commission has decided to allow the candidates to correct/modify their existing OTR details from 19.06.2025 to 30.06.2025,” the official notice said.
SSC has further clarified that the editing window is open for genuine corrections only. Any changes made without valid justification will be treated as suspicious and could be considered an attempt to mislead the Commission. Such actions may be held against the candidate.
Applications are open for the SSC Combined Hindi Translator (CHT), Combined Graduate Level (CGL), and Stenographer Grade C and D examinations. Candidates can register for SSC CHT and SSC Stenographer Grade C and D till June 26, while the application window for SSC CGL will remain open till July 4.
