SSC Stenographer 2018 Notification released; apply before November 19

NEW DELHI, October 22- Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification of SSC Stenographer for Grade C and D (Non-Gazetted) posts 2018 on October 22. The online application form is available from October 22 to November 19. The candidates who have passed 12 th Standard or equivalent from a recognized University or Board can apply for this exam. Candidates applying for SSC Stenographer must be atleast 18 years.
The online application form of SSC Stenographer can be filled in two parts. In part A, new candidates have to register with the registration id and password which will be sent to their email id or the registered candidate cam login with registration id and password and fill basic details like name, father’s name, gender, date of birth etc and upload the scanned photograph and signature. In part B of application form, candidates have to select the exam centres, select the mode of payment, pay requisite fee and tick the declaration check- box.
The male candidates belonging to General and OBC category have to pay Rs. 100 while female and ST/SC/PH candidates are exempted from fee payment. The fee payment can be done through offline and online mode through bank challan or via net banking, debit/credit card.
As per the exam pattern of SSC Stenographer 2018, the exam will be conducted into two stages – Computer based test and Skill test. The computer based test has 3 sections - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language and Comprehension. Candidates qualifying the CBT will be eligible to appear for skill test. Last year 2,24,473 candidates appeared for CBT where 8,469 qualified for Group ‘C’ and 15,004 qualified for Group ‘D’ posts.
