Study In France: Education fairs, ‘Choose France Tour 2022’, start on October 11
The education fairs for Indian students hoping to study in France will be held in four cities over October 11 to 16.

An initiative of the French government, a series of education fairs for Indian students hoping to study in France will be organised from October 11 to 16. The ‘Choose France Tour 2022’ will travel to four cities – Kochi, Kerala; Bengaluru, Karnataka; Mumbai, Maharashtra; and New Delhi.
The education fairs will have around 37 top French educational institutions participating and prospective students can access free counselling, and information on scholarships, visa regulations and student life, by Campus France, a French government agency for international students.
The fairs are being organised by the Institut Français en Inde (French Institute in India), a part of the French embassy, in collaboration with Campus France.

Study In France: International students
According to the statement issued by the French embassy, around 3,60,000 of the 2.5 million students enrolled in higher education in France – 12% of the total – are from other countries, including India. The country has over 3,500 public and private institutions although over 75% of international students attend public colleges in France.
Over 1,700 programmes are in English-medium and addition to academics, France provides foreign students with wonderful opportunities for cultural, historical, and recreational experiences.
Choose France Tour 2022
The Choose France Tour is particularly for recent high school graduates, the statement says. Students will get the chance to speak with French academics and educators of France's leading universities during the fairs.

During her recent India visit, the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms Catherine Colonna, reiterated the target set by President Emmanuel Macron: France wants to welcome 20,000 Indian students by 2025. We will spare no effort to reach this goal,” says Emmanuel Lenain, ambassador of France to India.
