Tamil Nadu 10, 11 results today at tnresults.nic.in; grading system, supplementary exam

NEW DELHI: Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu will be declaring the TN Class 10 and 11 results 2023 today, May 19, 2023. The Tamil Nadu 10th results will be declared at 10 AM today while the Class 11 results will be announced at 2 PM. The Tamil Nadu SSLC and HSE+1 results will be declared on official websites- tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in.

The DGE will send the results directly to the candidates’ registered mobile numbers. Also, the students can know the results through their schools. Students must know that the TN Result 2023 marksheets that are generated online are provisional in nature, students will have to pick up their original marksheets from their respective schools.
Around 9.5 lakh students appeared for Class 10 board exams conducted from April 6 to 20. Around eight lakh candidates appeared for the Class 11 exams conducted from March 14 to April 5. Class 10 and 11 Students that have cleared their exams will be able promoted to the next classes. However, candidates that are not satisfied with their marks and believe that their answer sheets have not been evaluated properly will be able to apply for re-checking on the official website.
Students that have failed on two or more subjects will have to appear for the Tamil Nadu supplementary exam 2023. The supplementary exam are tentatively scheduled in June 2023. Last year, the overall pass percentage for TN Class 11th results was 90.07%, and the girls outperformed the boys by 10.13%. The girl's pass percentage was 94.99%, while the boy's pass percentage was 84.86%.
