Out of 7,76,844 candidates, 7,06,413 successfully passed the TN HSE plus one exam 2023.

Among the 3,61,454 boys who appeared, 3,14,444 successfully cleared the exam. 

Meanwhile, ut of the 4,15,389 girls who took the exam, 3,91,968 clear the exam. 

Last year the pass percentage for class 10 stood at 90.01% while the overall pass percentage this year is 91.39%. Class 11 last year was- 90.07% while it is 90.93% this year.

The following is the pass percentage by stream for Tamil Nadu Class 11 exams 2023-

• Science- 93.38%
• Commerce- 88.08%
• Arts- 73.59%

As per the TN result press conference, a total of 995 students secure 110% marks in class 11 exam this year. 

• Tirupur is the district with highest pass percentage 96.38% students passed
• Erode district is second with 96.18% pass percentage
• Coimbatore is third with 95.73% pass percentage

3,91,969 girls and 3,14,444 boys pass exam,  7,07,413 students passed the TN 11th exam 2023.

Even if the students fail in exams, they will be allowed to take admission in 12th and clear arrears during the Class 12 academic year.

Tamil Nadu private schools recorded the highest pass percentage of 97.38% amongsts schools.

Perumbalur district has recorded the highest pass percentage of 97.6%. Sivaganga district grabbed the second rank with pass percentage of 97.53%. Virudhnagar third with pass percentage of 96.22%. 

A total of 6,97,212 candidates registered for Tamil Nadu Class 10 exam out of which 6,82,321 students appeared. 4,55,000 boys and 4,59,000 girl students wrote the exam. Of total appeared, 5,65,468 passed.

Anbil Mahesh, state education minister, will soon announce the TN 10th result 2023. 

The Class 10th students of Tamil Nadu will be able to apply for re-totalling of TN SSLC results 2023 if they not satisfied with their results. Those who fail in the exam will be able to appear for the Tamil Nadu Class 10th supplementary exams to improve their scores.

Around 9 lakh students appeared in the Tamil Nadu SSLC exams 2023.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has uploaded TN 10th mark sheet 2023 for private students on May 16. Students has to key in their roll number and date of birth on the Tamil Nadu SSLC marksheet link, apply1.tndge.org, to download the scorecard.

Tamil Nadu government’s decision to provide breakfast in select primary schools has led to an increase in attendance in the majority of schools, according to a survey by the State Planning Commission.
