Tamil Nadu B.Ed admission 2025-26 opens; apply on bed.tngasa.in before July 9

Tamil Nadu B.Ed admission: Applications will be received for 21 government and aided colleges in the state; classes begin on August 6
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) admissions 2025-26 commenced on Friday with higher education minister of Tamil Nadu K Ponmudi announcing the schedule of conducting the process at state government and government-aided colleges. Applications will be received from June 20, 2025, till July 9, the minister said today.
The application will be considered successfully submitted only after uploading the required documents and payment of fee. The B.Ed application fee for general category candidates is Rs 500, and the fee for SC/SCA/ST candidates is Rs 250.
The selection process will be based on merit. Candidates must be a graduate in a relevant subject in order to be eligible to apply. Applications can be submitted on the Tamil Nadu Government and Government-Aided Colleges of Education (TNGASA) portal bed.tngasa.in.

Tamil Nadu B.Ed admission 2025-26
Ranklist for Tamil Nadu B.Ed admissions will be released on July 18 which will rank all applicants on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Candidates can then fill in the colleges of their choice from July 21 to July 25.
Based on the choice-filling and the ranklist, a college allotment list will be released by July 28. Candidates can download the same using their login details on the official TNGASA website. Those who wish to join the allotted college must give confirmation on the website itself.
Classes for B.Ed first year in government and government-aided colleges are scheduled to begin from August 6 onwards.

There are seven government colleges and 14 government-aided colleges offering B.Ed admissions 2025-26 in Tamil Nadu. Some of the prominent ones are:
