Download NowNEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu government has postponed the language paper of Class 12 to May 3, 2021, and clarified that the other exams will be conducted as scheduled, as per reports.
“The Tamil Nadu government has postponed the Class 12 state board public exam that was scheduled to take place on May 3 to May 31. All other exams will be conducted as scheduled,” according to a New Indian Express report.
The decision was taken as the votes of the Tamil Nadu assembly election will be counted on May 2, 2021. The official notification on the postponement of the examination is yet to be released.
DGE, Tamil Nadu has released the TN 12th exam time table 2021 on February 17, 2021. As per the released time table, the exams are scheduled to be conducted from May 3 to 21, 2021. However, now the exam scheduled on May 3 will be held on May 31, 2021.
Earlier the s chools asked Tamil Nadu Govt to postpone Class 12 exams 2021 due to the increasing COVID-19 cases in the state. However, no decision has been made yet.
